Welcome

We are an employment based initial teacher training provider(EBITT).

Our aim is to provide high quality training for graduate trainees to qualify as teachers who can help fulfill the needs of local schools. You will find employing schools regard our programme very highly.

Currently, The Cambridge Partnership works with secondary schools in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and West Norfolk. We consider applications from other areas where access to our programme is viable. We work with the independent sector and we can provide structured programmes for the secondary aspect of special schools.

We offer the following programmes to qualify you as a teacher whilst working: The full time GTP programme, the 80:20 programme and the Overseas Trained Teacher programme. All of these programmes are explained under the appropriate headings on the left.

"....very good support for trainees from all partnership staff". (external assessors report 2010)

We offer opportunities to train in a wide range of subjects including: mathematics; science; English; ICT; design technology; drama; PE; modern foreign languages; music; RE; art; dance and history.

All our programmes are school based and require the sponsorship of a school. This school will be your employer and we will provide a significant experience in a second contrasting school.

"Very challenging but memorable year…I have learned so much about myself and I am convinced teaching is my path". (trainee final evaluation 2010)
